Every decade adds a new host of challenges. Turning 50 recently, is not much different. I  got an application for AARP,  I was also told to get a colonoscopy, my eyes checked, lift weights, update important paperwork, set more realistic goals, and take care of my skin, to name just a few. This will be my blog page which will not be an online journal! Instead it will be a place to express myself and my passions, and perhaps some feelings and thoughts that others may be able to relate to. It can help raise awareness, build resources, garner support, and connect with people who share a piece of my heart.
